This program is designed for the Executive Director and your Board.  This interactive session will cover areas that include board responsibilities, whose role is it, how to be a high-performance board, you’re the voice of the membership, being involved and not getting burned out, showing value to your members, and 10 tips to on being an amazing board member and CEO.

About Rich

Rich Cantillon is President of the Ponca City Area Chamber of Commerce/Tourism Office in Ponca City, Oklahoma.

Rich is a graduate of Northwestern Oklahoma University. He also attended and graduated from the US Chamber Institute of Organizational Management at the University of Arizona. Rich was chosen Oklahoma’s 2008 Chamber of Commerce Executive of the Year.

Rich is involved with the Ponca City Arts Council, Past Chair for the Ponca City Rotary Club, Past Chair for the Oklahoma Chamber of Commerce Executives, Oklahoma Travel Industry Association Board, Past Chair for the Center for Chamber Excellence with the University of Oklahoma and Past Chair for the Winter Institute Board with the U.S. Chamber.  Rich currently serves on the U.S. Chamber’s Institute of Organizational Management Board of Trustees and the OK Chamber of Commerce Executives Board of Directors.  He has also been involved with his Church Youth Program teaching high school religion for 28 years.

He and his wife Pam of 34 years have 3 adult children and one granddaughter Harper.

Rich owned a photography business for 15 years prior to his Chamber career which has included 8 years as CEO for the Blackwell Chamber and now 14 years as CEO with the Ponca City Chamber.
